Alicia Cheng

Lab member / Graduate Researcher

Alicia Cheng is a Master’s student in HF/HCI in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Rice University. She received her B.S. in Cognitive Science from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a specialization in Computing and a minor in Linguistics, as well as an Ed.M. in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Alicia’s research interest includes transportation human factors, medical human factors, and usability. Her current project is on social vigilance decrement supervised by Dr. Jing Chen and Dr. Patricia DeLucia. In her free time, Alicia enjoys anime, music, video games, and thinking about ways to help her 16-pound cat lose weight (but always ends up failing).
