Hi, my name is Scott Mishler. I graduated with my Ph.D. in Human Factors Psychology Program from Old Dominion University. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Purdue University in 2016, and my Master’s Degree from ODU in 2019.
My research interests include human-computer interaction, automated driving, trust in automation, vigilance, and cybersecurity. My current research projects are focused on the development and maintenance of trust in automation, counteracting vigilance decrements in surface transportation, understanding driver interactions with AI systems utilizing computer vision, and developing useful designs for phishing detection systems by testing anthropomorphized agents.
